Just found a few chuffing related guides and books in cupboard, to places i either used to go (UK) or dreamt id go to go(abroad).

They're bugger all use sat here. They are:

picos de europa - guide collomb
ala dag turkey
Walks in Palestine

Finally got to the bottom of my horrible cupboard under the stairs. Always wonder why the name Carrie is written over and over in a child's scrawl on it's walls. (I'm too scared, or is that sensible, to paint over it. Oh no, I've seen to many Asian horror films to know that's not a good idea).

Anyway, one more tome came to light, and up for grabs:

Walt Unsworths 500 page Everest (the story of climbing the worlds highest altitude rubbish dump).

John hunt says a splendid book. Chris bonnington says extremely impressive!

Quick note to say to everyone who took some books,

thanks for the donations to search and rescue dogs association and the severn area rescue association. Good to put a few bob their way. They do great work, not only helping climbers in distress, but also helping search for missing people, etc.

Nicely done.

Remainder books helping amnesty international, and the PDSA.
