Just don't make a habit of it and you'll be ok... I did loads of work last week and it actually felt satisfying. The weekend has reverted me to usual Monday torpor though, so it's ok.

Well you sad geek.... I'll pop round later to hear your latest Star Trek joke and do a couple of intriguing binary puzzles. Snort.

i'm a geotechnical engineer - deal mainly with the stabilisation slopes and retaining walls which were badly built back in the day are about to fall down and kill people, like this one did:

it knocked down an apartment block and wiped out 67 people in the 70's

may sound vaguely interesting but in reality its dull as fuck...............

Your eyes are fucking wierd mate.

Anyone not in the know, get him to demonstrate. Preferably not when you are on the verge of whiteout.

Voluntary nystagmus

- appears as a low amplitude, high frequency pendular nystagmus that occurs in short bursts

- the pendular nystagmus is voluntarily produced, but cannot be sustained, and it will disappear if the patient is instructed to continuously keep his eyes open

- the capacity for self-induced nystagmus apparently runs in families, and it's used as a parlor-trick
