Brione Topo and directions...
January 26, 2013, 10:28:26 am
Yo, not been for a while and have goldfish memory.

Anyone know of any online topos?  I've also forgotten how to get to the village.  7 years is a long time.

Keen to do General Dissaray, Ganymede and look at Off the Wagon (I know - different area, further up or something?).

Help appreciated  :)

Brione is above Locarno up the versasca valley, past the big James Bond dam. After that I can offer little more. The fake pamplemousse boulder is by the the confluence of the two rivers, just below the town. I'd guess you go down the valley to cross though. I've annoyingly only ever been there for a walk.

Nice one.  I'll check out that link.

I've done Fake Pamplmousse along time ago, and remember a bridge to cross the river, and then bear left.  It was just getting to the parking and all that.

I've walked around the woods where general disarray is, but again - remember a bridge/overpass you park on, but no idea how we got there from Claro.

Dense - did Mickey try off the wagon?  Seems like a day mission - worth it for a dabble I reckon.

Any more info anyone, keep it coming.  It's my age you know.
