Anyone got/seen/fondled one of this seasons Filo's? Thinking about replacing my 2008 model...

Got one of these for Christmas this year in Green and Zest, really warm on my recent font trip and seems well made. Cheap as ever with Aplkit too, reccomend one!

Cool, what's the fabric quality like? My old one was quite scratchy - odd semi fleece material in pockets that felt cheapo.. But otherwise great - I know they change the spec every year..

i was unimpressed with the sewing quality on my 2010 (?) model: lots of loose threads / frayed edges on the seams. Can't fault the warmth/price ratio though, doesn't leak down & top colour ("carat")

Ye think the fabrics not bad at all, comfortable even with a t-shirt underneath. Fleece lining in pockets is nice and zip design to stop it getting stuck is good. Noticed it loses quite a few feathers but think this is probably normal.

I cant compare it to the previous model but can only say I really like mine, got it just before xmas largely because of good reviews of the old version.  Seems much better than I thought, toastie.  Fleece inside pockets is nice to warm hands and zips seem less prone to catching than my old TNF nuptse jacket.  Its also warmer and frankly just fits better.  I've also lost a couple of feathers initially but havent recently so think it was just rouge feathers determined to leave.  lol.

i have a 2010 filo.

while i'm overall quite happy* about its functional side (warm, pops back well after being compressed, i really like the longer-back cut), i noticed a de-colouring issue...

A large patch on the back is now of a much lighter green than the rest.

Not sure if it's a washing problem, i usually wash it once a year with down-specific soap and a gentle program in the washing machine.

Another possible reason is stayed for months in a place where it would get 4 hours of direct sunlight a day : if this de-colours ropes it would also decolour nylon fabrics?

*additional note
i love my filo for dry-weather climbing and dirtbagging but i'm going back to primaloft for my everyday's warm jacket.
Black, so hopefully  :coffee: stains won't be as visible.
