Bruised toe
December 14, 2012, 06:11:30 pm
Managed to stub my big toe falling off a boulder problem on Weds evening, there's a nice bruise under the toe nail and it's quite painful to wear rockshoes at the moment. Walking is OK now though.
I'm going to Chorro tomorrow, I'm not expecting to get much done for a few days at best, but does anyone know roughly how long this sort of thing takes to heal? I'm really clutching at straws now

Usually about 12 seconds of jumping around swearing under your breath. Man the fuck up.  ;)
Or you could bandage it to protect the nail bed and pas some of the pressure? You can get special funky wrappy twisty bandages with applicators for toe nails that work well if your nail comes off etc. This helped a bit when my nail got pushed back into my toe and then fell off during a skiing holiday.
