As per title Ropeman 3 are being recalled.

Have to send mine back (but they replace with Ropeman 1 or 2 along with a locking karabiner and throw in a draw to cover postage if sending direct to them, excellent customer relations  ).

Wow, don't remember an entire product ever being recalled before! Must admit I thought the spiked cam of the Mk2 was an improvement, surprised they went back to the flat ridged cam.

Might've been so that it could be used on slings.

Personally I wouldn't. But they had that as one of the differences with the mk2

Guess I  may be waiting a while for the MK3 to be replaced with the MK2. What with there being a total recall.

Jogged my memory, sent mine back two and a half to three weeks ago but not got a replacement yet, might have to chase it up later.

Likewise, but I'm thinking they'll be snowed under. hopefully will turn up for chrimbo and feel like a gift. I wonder how many ropeman MKIII in total were sold since release?

ditto here, sent by ups too (and the driver had the common sense to leave it with a neighbor unlike royal mail).

really good that they're doing this. because as stated in the letter that accompanied it they still meet the legal requirements. brilliant that a company looks/thinks beyond those obligations.
