west midlands rock - wanted

Looking to replace my lost copy of the above before i next visit my old pal in shropshire next.

Anybody got an unwanted copy of west midland rock they will part with for mates rates (or a fuck all).

There are some right punters trying to flog em on fleabay for mugs money (and nobodys buying surprise surprise).

There is a copy on ABE for a tenner. But i don't have paypal, plastic, or bank shit.

Cheers Ta.

Think I saw one on UKC - it may be worth checking there.

Just checked and it sold.

Is this the one with Pontesford on the cover?  I may have it somewhere at home, but I'd have to check.

Cheers, but i don't paddle my canoe that side of the river.

I've got a slim enough hold on sanity as it is.

They'll be arguing about whether in the night garden is as good as the teletubbies, or something equally mental as a box of frogs.

you better had. That's silly money for mugs. Mugs must be in short supply. They ain't selling cos nobody be buying.

Like i said there be a copy for a ten spot on ABE and that ain't selling either. Happily buy for that, but no way of paying.

Left mine at grinshill last time i was up there. Should have got it back, it had me phone number in it. But that's modern life.

Ps

i didn't put the bad idea smiley in there deliberately. It's this fecking phone. Normally it puts tumbleweed smiley on my posts. My thumb must have hit the smiley above

I have the said book. PM me your details (along with £2000) and I'll get it posted when I get the chance.

Have done. Thanks.

Will send you a 20 spot if that's acceptable. 2 grand might be pushing the boat out a bit far.

Useful for when i stay at friends near shrewsbury. I like grinshill, pontesford, nesscliff, etc. But then i am a fan of the esoteric.

I note you're in lancs. I spent a few months in bolton, and used to lurk in brownstones quarry. Is there still a huge lake under one wall? Fell into it once. That was a laugh. Never got on with wilton for some reason.

Cheers

Yes, Pond traverse is still the same (if a little more patio friendly).

EDIT:  Oh, and don't worry about money- to be honest I'll be glad to get rid of any book that has Southstone Rock in it!!
