Competition details:

Round 1 of the winter series. There are 3 catergories:
Fun - V0-V3
 Intermediate - V2-V5
 Open - V4+
 The Open league will be split male and female.
Time from 5PM to 9PM
 Best 3 scores of the series will count, so it doesn't matter if you miss a round

Regarding the grades, what are they to indicate, the level of problems that will be in that class, or the max grade you have climbed?

For example, if I can rock up and flash a V1, V2 are my normal 2nd / 3rd attempt problems and after quite a few attempts at working V3, I get them.  Would I be classed in Fun, or Intermediate?

Can we change class after round one, eg I enter Intermediate and then find I can't climb a single problem, can I drop to Fun for the remainder of the comp? (or conversely, I flash every problem with ease in the Fun class, can I then change to Intermediate?) I've never climbed at The Climbing Station, so don't know how the grades compare to the Pinnacle Centre in Northampton.

 The grade range in the categories means that they will start at the lower range, eg V0 and
Progress up to V3.
 Yes you can swap categories and yes if you get a clean sweep in the fun category we
Will move you up to the next one.
