I was watching the channel 4 news today, and they were doing their main story about those american soldiers tortureing/abbuseing those iraqui prisoners. They went on to talk about other things that were insighting hatred for the west in the middle east, and they showed this very photo with something like"this guy killed my fether, then raped my sister!" written on the board!  Apparently this has been circlating arround the middle east "inrageing" everybogy!

Was this the origional, or did somebody just make it on that site?

I bet the original said something horribly pro-US like "we are glad to be liberated" or something.

Quote from: "The BBC"

However the BBC's defence correspondent Paul Adams says sources close to The Queen's Lancashire Regiment believe many aspects of the photographs are suspicious.

He says they believe the pictures may not have even been taken in Iraq.

They believe the rifle is an SA80 mk 1 - which was not issued to troops in Iraq.

They say soldiers in Iraq wore berets or hard hats - and not floppy hats as in the photos.

They also believe the wrong type of Bedford truck is shown in the background - a type never deployed in Iraq
[/size]

Whether they're genuine or not, is anybody really surprised some prisoners get abused during a war? Do people really think that the British Army are all just nice, stiff upper lip kinda guys?
