About £40 these days - cheap ones are generally great for being region free and playing just about anything you can download.

Got one for £25 from tescos. Does everything the expensive ones do, can't fault owt about it.

plus you can chip em (like megadrives) so they'll play pretty much any dvd........

dave has the knowledge on this - i've got it on email somehwere but there's a site where you search for your playa and it gives you the hack

it even worked for mine and i've got a 'Deccavideo'    i think i got it in kwik save
