Those hanging ball things...

I mean the ones Patxi has in Progression. Anyone used them? Are they good for pinch training? Anyone know where to get them?

Do you mean these

Ned demonstrates a cheaper option at 1:27 for those without 40 notes to burn

Hmm.. what do you think the probability of getting Neil to buy a pair for the Foundry is?  :-\

Have you used them? I have 12 months to get strong on pinches...

Alternatively, anyone know anywhere in Sheffield likely to have offcuts of banisters?

That isn't what I was suggesting, more that you walk into the shop you pass at least twice a week and buy the product you're banging on about.

Also, the works had some hanging up for a while, maybe ask Sam/Percy/Graeme about their whereabouts.

If I bought them I'd probably leave them in-situ at the foundry so might as well see if I can convince Neil. I'm not very hopeful though. Will come have a feel of them next time I'm down.

You realise the irony in requesting a board full of pockets then coming back from cheating (N.B. This does not relate to Mecca) your way up some tufa routes and then wanting pinches (which the board was perfect for beforehand)?

Maybe you could pinch a wedge? It'll make his day:

I still want the pockets (margalef at christmas  :) plus it's so good to have them as an option if pulleys get tweaky). If they drill pockets into wooden pinches then there's no need to compromise  . IMO the board should have a variety of pockets, edges and pinches. Easy.

coming back from cheating your way up some tufa routes

The pinches are with a desire to try abyss next September. Tried it for a day and a half and my sequence involves 7 separate knees in the space of 20m  ;D I fucking love knees.
