Committee Meeting Etiquette

I'm going for the 'dullest topic' prize here - but the collective knowledge of UKB can solve all problems, big or small.

I am Vice Chair of a committee (or two!). I attended a meeting today, but the Chair phoned about an hour before it started to say she couldn't be there. I Chaired (is that a verb?) in her absence, but what do I put next to my name in the minutes: Vice Chair, or Acting Chair?

Acting Chair. If not, there was no Chair of that meeting.
