Elysium. St Bees.  I lead this in 1996 so seems strange that the first ascent is logged in the FRCC guide as 1998. Is this a typo?

Probably a typo i would think. I can do some digging with the guidebook writer if it's important but you could always e mail woody at the epicentre in the lakes to ask him as it's one of his.

Cheers for that and sorry for the late reply.  I found some earlier topo with the correct date on in either 95 or 96.   Was just curious and bored in equal measures at the time
