Bouldering in Provence
July 30, 2012, 12:33:13 pm
Going to be staying near Aix-en-Provence in October for a couple of weeks, is there any bouldering to be had in the area, will have car and dont mind driving an hour or two.

Location recommendations or a hint at guidebooks available would be much appreciated.

Thanks
G

Haven't any particular ideas but zebloc has always been useful when searching for French bouldering venues.  Annot is a bit of a drive from Aix but is by all accounts very good (http://www.zebloc.com/549-2/areas/annot/).

Maybe have a trawl around the site and see what turns up? http://www.zebloc.com/

I was staying with a friend near the Verdon a couple of years ago and had a few visits to Annot - cool place with loads to go at. The access track was a bit rough though.

Good link that. Is there a Wiki on this site somewhere that deals with other bouldering sites? That this could go on? Thinking as well about the Brittany one that someone found (I think) the other week?

I know Slackers is away in S.America at the moment, so who's 2nd in command of all things Wiki/Web/Linux etc.. in his abscence? ;)

I know Slackers is away in S.America at the moment, so who's 2nd in command of all things Wiki/Web/Linux etc.. in his abscence?

If you'd all changed to Open Source Operating Systems there wouldn't be a need for a second in command. For anything. Ever. As long as you had 36 hours a day to do all the fucking around required to keep the penguins well fed and groomed.

does that help?
