Stefan Grossman SS 8A at Langdale, not much else there though of that grade range.

If you are after quality...from the top 50 list on lakesbloc:

8A   Iron Hide              St. Bees - South
   8A   Special Cases        Bowdersone
   8A   XXXX                   Bowderstone
   8A   Stefan Grossman   Langdale Boulders
7C+/8A   Tourniquet    Kentmere, Little Font   (easier since hold break)
7C+   Return of the Fly           Thorn Crag
   7C+   Groove Armada     Lad Stones
7C+   Brane World           Fairy Steps, Shucks Lair

Tourniquet is great, and you can work all the moves as it's a traverse. The Bowderstone has tons of hard stuff. St Bees is a brilliant venue. Lots of other hard things at Trowbarrow/Woodwell/Fairy Steps.

I wouldn't travel far to climb on S Lakes limestone or at Kentmere to be honest. If you need a third venue you should go to Sampson's Stones or Carrock Fell. There's enough hard stuff there to keep you busy for a day at least.

If your coming from the south, call in at brownstones on your way through, and then you'll realise what the promised land is, and there's no point carrying on any further north and you'll save your self some money too.

Lad stones could be described as good too, bits and bobs at those grades.

If they're coming from the north it's worth carrying on past the lakes for sure.

You might if your local was Gollum's Cave.  ;)

Big thanks everyone!  ;D Sounds good! Had a look and I'm staying very close to the Bowder Stone so should be close to Langdale as well, although a bit further to Kentmere.

Kentmere is sometimes south enough to be out of the Clag if its infesting the hills - if thats any help. And Wilfs in Staveley (en route) is worth lunch :)
