Is broadcasting the Jubilee service simultaneously on Radio 4 and on Radio 5.

What's the fucking point in that?

They can't be bothered with getting someone in on their bank holiday to do some other programming? Better than white noise I guess. Doubt there are many people listening anyway.

R4 isn't broadcast on AM, and R5 doesn't broadcast on FM, so this gives the best coverage for DAB free Luddites.

And  how many [non-DAB] radios have been sold in the last 60 years that haven't had both AM and FM

It only needs to be on one or the other.
(or "medium wave" and "VHF" for those of you still wanting to live in 1952)
