pad hire...font

had a trawl thru previous posts etc but can seem to find any info

are there anywhere providing this service in font?

booked with ryan air for a wedding in bergerac and paid the 20kg bag fee so was thinking of getting the pad on wrapped over with a bag protector as i'll have a few other items of clothing packed inside, tho these may go in the mrs suitcase, if she decides to take the larger one.

the dismantling the pad and packing in a duffle may work

ok...quick update and question

i'm not taking a pad now due to other baggage and ryanair. maisonbleau/neil doesnt have any available when i'm there.

as i'm restricted on time (1&half days worth of climbing) i'm possibly sticking to bas cuvier, is there a guy in a van who hires out pads there and for how much if anyone has ever enquired?

ta all

if you really are in a fix, it is possible to boulder in font without a pad. Crazy but true.

yeah, for a quick trip like that, don't bother with a pad. A combination of traverses, lowers probs with sandy landings, manning up, and using other peoples mats will see you reet.

Bit late so just for future reference, I think the sign in the van window was €10 a day or €50 for the week. (The van Duma gave the link for.)
