Following on from another post that I accidentally put in the Chuffing section, a quick update about access here:
We were asked to leave the Upper Circle area last Saturday by a bailiff. I followed this up and it transpires that the access here is not as cut and dried, despite what the latest published access agreements state. At its root there is an issue about whether the land in question is covered by an older agreement between land owners that prevents the land being accessed for anything but conservation.
As yet there is no official line about what to do, but I would suggest not aggravating the situation. The problem covers the land owned on the Rubicon side of the river by the WT.
