Every single time I come back to this band, I'm completely bowled over by how good they are. Their songs seem superficially simple, but always manage to get right under my skin. Here is a perfect example of one of their melancholy masterpieces!

Alligator is one of my favourite albums - dunno why..... Its a pretty sombre affair in places but there are a few great tracks mixed up in there. All the Wine being a personal fave - reminds my of many a night out with the elusive Darwen Weasel.....

Sad songs for dirty lovers is an amazing album. Best band ever.High violet expanded is pretty cool album too!
