I just wrote up a new intro to the training wiki: http://www.ukbouldering.com/wiki/index.php/Training_:_The_Science.
Let me know what you think.

The '.' period on the end has screwed the link up, follow this instead.

Certainly more structured and thought out than the collection of tidbits I've thrown on there, good work.

Gotta start somewhere :)

Thanks for the fix on the link.

Just had a brief scan. Not sure which bit you wrote Sasquatch but the "contact strength" bit is incorrect and should read something like 'the ability to recruit maximal strength on contact' or something like that.

I'll edit the Aero Cap at some stage. Its not just 20/10's though that is my favourite way of training it.

Not sure which bit you wrote Sasquatch...

The "History" tab top right shows who changed what and when.

Please excuse my ignorance but where is the wiki?

I go to the home page and click wiki and just get the wiki highlights...

Up the top just above the line that tells you what sub-forum you're looking at is a row, with "Home" "Forum" (in orange) "Wiki" "Media" "Profile" "My Messages" and "Logout".  Click on the "Wiki" one then "Edit Wiki" and you're at the front page.

See earlier posts in this thread for a direct link to the Training page.

Thanks slack line. I did that and got the the 'main page'. But now where? I can't see a link to the training part. I can use the search box and find it like that. But that requires knowledge of what's on the wiki before I can find it...

Cheers

Like most wikis you either search for terms you are interested in or you browse around.  In this instance the hierarchy has placed it under "FAQs > Bouldering FAQs > Training".

I guess the logic to that is that people frequently ask questions about training for bouldering, and linking to every page from the front page would be cluttered.
