Free trip to Font
March 03, 2012, 11:42:31 am
We are looking for a suitable person to act as our maid/butler for a week in Font. The week shall start on the 30th March. You will be given free transport and camping for the duration. Your duties shall include making tea/coffee in the morning, some occasional cooking/washing up, but most importantly the opening of evening beers and keeping the bar stocked. Uniform shall be provided. At all times we are climbing you are also free to do so, and will be offered lifts to bouldering areas, there will be plenty of time to climb. A sense of humour is essential, those with a requirement for political correctness need not apply. A short covering letter and photo in application by private message. You will be required to hold a valid passport.
We shall be holding a short interview by Skype/phone approx. one week before the trip.

We have something slightly more tasteful, and more in keeping with the position of butler.

If someone does it for a day and then sacks it off do they loose their benefits?

Yes the contract will require duties to be carried out for the duration or the return trip will be forfited. They could choose to buy them selves out of thier contract at cost though.

Not keen on being a Font butler but I am interested in buying the film rights.

Working title is Chalk This Way. "He's mixing drinks, they're on the rocks"

Zach Galifianakis' people say he is interested in the role of butler. Stevie Haston is confirmed for a cameo appearance.

I'm tempted by this but your low post count might suggest that you're a Nigerian scammer looking to expand your horizons?
If you promise me that you're not a scammer, I will probably just believe you.

Who are you? Is it a corporate event? What's the uniform etc?

Do they need to have voted Tory, or have occupation "Posh twat" in their passport? Or prefereably both (I know, the two are usually mutually inclusive).

Welcome back Sloper.

If it is Sloper then I would love to be a fly on the wall for the SKYPE interview - knowing his ability with all things technological it is likely to resemble a monkey teaching itself to drive...

Obviously it's incredibly tough to set up another email address  ;)

I'll be in font at the same time, I'll got to Sabot (where they're sure to be) to get some clandestine footage.

Whenever we go to Font we always take a load of people to open beers for us, do the cooking, shopping, washing up and the childcare. The only difference is we do the same for them and they are called our mates not our servants.

If your seriously after someone, drop Dense a PM, he's always after a lift to font and I can see him in that role.

So I'm head-to-head with Lee now? I never thought this would be a scenario I'd be involved in.

The lucky applicant gets the Indian as all the other uniforms are taken. I hope biker wears jeans under his chaps though or spotting will be "interesting" .

This also appeared on the other channel and I have a feeling he's actually serious. Apart from the uniform bit.

As to whether it's a good or a shit idea, that depends on the people involved.
