Hello, Got a bunch of DVD's that I'd like to rip and squeeze onto an ipad for travelling etc... Making it into the ipad format is no problem (plenty of SW about to do that) but whats the latest/best sw for ripping DVD's etc..? Preferrably free, but might pay a small kerching if its very good/highly reccomended etc...

Theres only one DVD ripping program you'll ever need....Handbrake, very good/highly recommended...and free.

I use it too.

Also very good for transcoding stuff for various devices (xbox etc.)

I use Aiseesoft iPad Video Converter its about $30 so what about £20, its amazing, I can batch import all my movies and let it run over night, in the morning stick them all sraight onto the ipad, its pretty good, real easy to use
