Happened to see him live at the Green Rooms on Devonshire Green at an open mike night at least five years ago. I remember enjoying it - his version of Radiohead's High and Dry was particularly good. Don't remember the singing quite so overwrought,  but the soundbox percussion is still worth a listen:

I had the privilege of seeing him in a small bar in Leeds quite a few years ago.

Astonishing talent, well worth seeing him live. If you listen to his music without knowing it's just one guy, some pedals and a guitar it's easy to think that it must be a band playing.
