Eavestones bouldering.
February 13, 2012, 10:48:53 pm
Does anybody on here know anything about where Dave Sutcliffe's new problems are at Eavestones? I spent ages in the summer trying to find any bouldering there (other than that described) but clearly missed all of this!

I'm interested in this too. I looked round the crag on a wet day years a go and spotted some good lines and would like to know if they've been done. There's a bit of info and some pics in the latest Climber but it's not comprehensive or detailed enough to be useful to a visitor. Some of the lines I saw were in a font like corridor between buttresses, I assume this is The Crevasse area mentioned in the mag.
Keeping track of Yorks developments is a right nightmare now that Yorkshiregrit.com doesn't take new entries. Where are all the locals blogs
?

That would make sense. What buttress/side of the lake was this crevasse on? Can't believe I missed it. I still have other things to check out that I found that day too though...

The addition of a new problems forum/database on here would seem like a logical place.....?
