there's more to lancashire than brownstones. and if it's north west, why no have in bridestones, widdop, earl etc.?

Hell yeah, make it a bumper NW guide and rewrite Al C-D's guide too.  Maybe over two volumes.  :)

that's not what i was saying, i think they are in the north west aren't they? hell, brideys are even in lancashire! and its gonna be a selective guide so why not have a few pages with no pictures on them, just detailing minor problems ion the other quarries?

Sorry, that sounded a bit sarky didn't it.  It wasn't meant to be.

But surely they still fit logically into a renewed Yorks Grit guide?  Most people class them as part of that cohort of crags no?

I don't  know where you heard that but I doubt it's true.

They are doing a guide, we are doing a guide lets leave it at that!

Yeah, the more guides the merrier... it means I can waste even more of my spare time staring at topos of places that I already know inside out. :D

I have stuck a grade poll up, so you can have your say on which system you think we should use in the guide...

I'm not saying I'll go with the winner

why use font grades when all the areas that are going to be in the guide currently use Vgrades?
