Geyikbayiri Without a Car
January 26, 2012, 04:59:31 pm
I know there are loads of threads on the area, but I was wondering if anyone has had any specific experience of spending time in Geyikbayiri without a car?

How easy it would be to get from the campsite to a supermarket or anywhere to buy food on the cheap without one?

We hired a car from the campsite for a day, went down to Olympos for a change of scene and got some shopping in on the way back. Something like 23 euros for the car plus fuel.
Otherwise I imagine its pretty easy to get a lift down towards the coast to get some supplies on a rest day.
You don't need a car at all to get to the crags once you are at the campsite.
