Sheffield real ale lover Anthony Brearey has purchased "The Sheaf", Fraser Road, Millhouses and is overseeing a comprehensive refurbishment of the pub. It will reopen in early August as "The Ale House" and is an entirely free of tie addition to the real ale circuit. "Real" food and live bands will also be on the menu!

So I went in for a cpl week or so ago, initial impresions...
Beer-good, not the range of rising sun but better and tasted like it should.
Ambiance-I have to ask what they did they do to the interior asthe room I was in looked like something out of a working men's club from the 70's. Think pheonix nights meets nicotine stained fingers........
I'm not sure, I will go back and have another to make my mind up fully
