I know its late bu I'm just looking for Valentine's day weekend accom in the Northumberland area (preferably not a million miles from Lindisfarne etc). I've done a search on here but have only found bunkhouse beta so far. Does anybody have any recommendations for cosy B&Bs that don't cost the earth (a lot to ask I know)? Not fussy on mod cons and luxury, just decent digs and a decent brekky.

Didn't stay there because they don't take young kids but this place was highly recommended to us and did look nice.

The lady we spoke to was very nice and directed us to an appropriate place, find it hard to believe she doesn't run a great place.

Dead close to Bowden not far from Lindisfarne, Bamburgh Castle and some great beaches very close by.
