Mallorca at Easter?
January 19, 2012, 12:13:49 pm
We normally go to Kalymnos at Easter but been there loads now so looking for a new venue. What are peoples thoughts on Mallorca - will the weather be ok? I have ordered the new Rockfax but does anybody have accommodation experience fairly near the best climbing. Also recommended crags and routes for a mixed ability group from 6a to 8a would be great.  :please:

My experience of Mallorca was that it doesn't take long to get to any of the crags by virtue of the motorway that runs the length of the island at the foot of the hills.  We stayed in the North East in Port de Pollenca and it wasn't more than ~45mins to anywhere that we climbed.

Stayed in a nice apartment right next to the marina, pretty cheap between five of us (was in November time so of-season).  The restaurant underneath was pretty good...
