Ive seen things you people wouldn't believe. Attack ships on fire off the shoulder of Orion. I watched C-beams glitter in the dark near the Tannhauser gate. All those moments will be lost in time... like tears in rain... Time to die.

People think I'm miserable. I'm not miserable. This is a prison, I don't think it's anything special when someone in prison is behind bars. "Prisoner in prison clothes" is not worth posting on YYFY. If I thought prison was hard, I'd say prison was hard. It's not. My idea of what's attractive is probably very different to what the other inmates think of as attractive - I don't fancy their bull-queens and they probably don't fancy my objects of lust. If someone claims that they're the hardest man in here and I don't believe them, then I will say so. I don't need friends.

Cry me a fucking river.

I have no idea to this day what those two Italian ladies were singing about. Truth is, I don't want to know. Some things are best left unsaid. I'd like to think they were singing about something so beautiful, it can't be expressed in words, and makes your heart ache because of it. I tell you, those voices soared higher and farther than anybody in a gray place dares to dream. It was like some beautiful bird flapped into our drab little cage and made those walls dissolve away, and for the briefest of moments, every last man in Shawshank felt free.

(or a dozen other great ones from Shawshank Redemption).

Same film

On his first night in Shawshank that tall drink of water with the silver spoon up his ass on his nose never made a sound.

or even better

I'm a rock hound. At least I was in my old life. I would like to be again on a limited basis.
