Might be way off the mark, but is the right hand one on 9 The Wrekin?

No, though Sgorr Dhearg is one of the peaks on the right of the arrow edit, just checked: out of frame to right - but much closer.

OOOOOooooooooooooooooohh, a good guess, but not quite right.

Les Drus are in the photo, but are not the peak under the arrow.

Struggling with that, I'd decided it wasn't Brown Clee Hill. It looks like it could be the hill east of the road between Oswestry and Welshpool but that's a total guess. Is it called Criggion? Or is it something closer to Shrewsbury.

EDIT : Just had a look on Google, the hill I was thinking of is called Breidden Hill, the village nearby is Criggion. Think I'm possibly to far west though.

You can see the Breiddens from the Roaches, but you are right, they are further west.  The Wrekin is almost due south.

I've never managed to pick Pontesford out from the Stiperstones behind from this distance. The hill in the photo is far more prominent.

The Aiguille Verte, yes. I think everyone got that one straight away, handy having a team I guess!

Rodney's Pillar is the highest of the Breiddens. IE wrong.

Ready for some more?

12. The Peak is home to the deepest cave shaft in Britain. What is it called?
Bonus point – how deep to the nearest ten m?

13.  Which Roaches E4 is Ron Fawcett’s favourite E3?

14.  In Colin Wells’ Who’s Who of Climbing, who is described thus:
“Extrovert, experimental performance poet, rock climber, protest climber, writer, charity fundraiser and occasional prat.”

15.  Name both of Robin Hood Stride’s two pinnacles?

16. ROUTE HANGMAN. You've got one go left....

So still unanswered:

Describe the crux of this problem:

1.  Who made the second ascent of Master's Edge?

3.  What is Doug, Lord and King of the Roaches, surname?

5.   Which climber features on the cover of the 1987 Stoney guide?

12. The Peak is home to the deepest cave shaft in Britain. What is it called?
Bonus point – how deep to the nearest ten m?

16. Route Hangman - scroll up a bit...
