Plywood Volumes
October 24, 2011, 10:15:33 am
Anyone interested? I can make them to most any shape you desire, or you can pick something out of the picture and I can make a match... Just thought I'd see if there was any interest...

thanks, Will.

If we can pick them out of a picture how about producing some from the dfbwgc back catalogue?

Think about that...

Do you want to go around telling people you got a finger strain on a plywood nipple?....

Probably less embarrassing than straining your fingers undercutting a plywood gash.

what's dfbwgc?

Hadn't really thought about prices, beacon are like £50 so something like that but cheaper.

I can make a match

Probably a bit small unless you are gaskins.

Can you make one that goes up to 11?

Can I please have 3 small volumes for £40 in the following dimensions:

Volume 1:  3m x 3.5m, overhannging by 30degrees.
Volume 2: 2.5m x 2.5m, attached to the right side of Volume 1, vertically.
Voume 3: 3m x 2.5m, attached to the left side of volume 1, 5 degrees overhaning.

I trust that you provide an installation service in my basement free of charge?

Could you please send me a cheque for £200 and I'll give you £240 cash, leaving you with your £40 for 3 small volumes?

In fact, you're getting an amazing deal as my 3 small volumes are actually only 2 dimensional and therefore have no volume. It's a deal!

any of these for sale

http://www.flickr.com/photos/69403452@N04/6321831549/#
£20

http://www.flickr.com/photos/69403452@N04/6321831621/#
£25

There's a couple of pictures that I hope you can see.

I've given them a coat of primer and once I've painted them a final colour I'll put some t-nuts in.

if you would like dimensions or better shots of any of the volumes let me know and I'll go measure them... I'm going to northumberland for the week so it might take me a while to reply.
thanks, Will

definitely interested.  How do you know which one is 20 or 25 - should the spoon be on the relevant one?  ;D

Also how do they fit to the wall?  They all bolt through like the ine with a hole in?

Also how much is postage (UK)? ta

fitting to the wall - I can make them to bolt through but to be honest I think it would be easier to just screw them on. for the smaller volumes 4 wood screws would be adequate, say 2" x 10.

The spoon was just for scale, price is negotiable

Postage I have no idea, where are you based? it would be easier to meet you at a crag non?

will!

ps. I'm based in Bedford / Birmingham so If you wanted to come and view some thats no problem. I'm currently unemployed (voluntarily) at the moment to allow me to climb a bit more so I'm happy to meet you at a crag near you, I'll bring a few volumes with me.
If you wanted a couple of smaller ones or if you wanted a specific shape etc let me know roughly what you want and I can make it to your requirements so to speak..

ta, Will.
