Boulders Indoor Climbing Centre will be hosting an evening of climbing activities on Friday 7th October to welcome students back to Cardiff and help get the Freshers climbing!
As well as all the normal climbing activities, we’ll be…
• Setting up a high-ball slack line
• Opening up the hanging volumes
• Setting up a dry tooling area, PLUS …
• .. we’ll even let you guys have a go on the uber-massive and scary “Arch Swing”!
• All set to a bit of DJ-ing from Boulders’ resident DJ-come instructor - Karl.
DMM are going to be helping out and sponsoring the event to bring you loads of bargain deals with them, including their breaking machine – ever wondered if you should bin your old sling, or krab? Bring it along and we can break it for you!
On top of this, Boulders will be putting loads of climbing equipment on sale to help you guys put your racks together at a bargain price!

Finally, it wouldn’t be a party without some drinks, so we’ll have a bar on the go for you. Don’t forget there’s the student locker, so you can leave any kit behind. This could be especially useful, as everyone who turns up will get a “Free Entrance B4 11pm” ticket at Tiger Tiger.
