Hemline at Ramshaw lower tier
September 09, 2011, 08:23:36 am
Can anyone tell me the right line for this traverse. I am confused with this and the line for 'rock climbing in britain'. Its the middle bit-does this take a low line going right, in effect reversing the moves on 'collywood', or stay higher, although this doent feel 7a even with the last bit under 'Tierdrop'.

It might be worth mentioning that most of this area was bone dry even in the heavy rain this week.......excellent.

This is from memory so I may be mistaken but:
Hemline and Rock Climbing In Britain travel in the same direction (left to right), with Hemline taking the higher line (walking) through the middle section then dropping down before Tierdrop for the finial section. It is very friendly for 7a. Rock Climbing In Britain starts sitting to the the left of Tit Grip and hand traverses up and around the finishing lip of this.

Hope that helps.
