[Palomides]

Probably of limited interest due to these crags having fallen out of international popularity since the 80s, but anyone passing through might like to know that following an accident (details & cause unknown) the local Community of Communes has closed all the crags/sectors collectively known as the "Route de la Grimpe".

This includes Vingrau (La Serre, Secteur Compétition, Terrain d'Aventure), Tautavel, Maury and a few other places. A total of 966 routes.

I hope they re-open these areas. Although most oft the crags aren't great, I have always wanted to do Axe d'Aile at Alzine, supposedly one of the best 8bs in france.
