Pete Robins finally got the 2nd ascent today after a 3 month seige.  Persistence beyond the call of duty makes him the first man to tick the LPT 8c+ trilogy.  An impressive feat considering they're all completely different in style.

I remember thinking there's actually a fair number of gear placements on some of the hard routes at LPT and the Diamond (as I dogged past them)!

I remember bolting my diamond project with you and wishing desparately that I could find a gear placement because the old bolts I was hanging on were a bit 'snappy'... eek.
