Alright guys. I'm heading to the cave on Thursday and was wondering if i can keep my van in a lay-by or is this a big no-no?

I'd avoid it personally. There is a parking spot up the top of the Orme I've heard people using without any trouble. Parking in the Promenade is also a no no - I've been chased off before.

 Be careful of one of the car parks on the top of the ormes, there are a large contingent of doggers that use it. Not a massive problem in itself but  annoying when trying to sleep with constant car lights sweeping and I kid you not nocking on doors asking to join in(doylo?)
