"At one point I had to sort of layback on the cheek of my face so I could swap hands on a hold"

In those pics from the comp Johnny looks about ten years younger (and three stone lighter) than when I last saw him.

Amazing!  :2thumbsup:

He was down the Cornice this afternoon. I thought he was looking younger and healthier too.

Tripitaka says 'the Stone Monkey has returned'.
And possibly something to do with freeing the mind.
I shall not patronise you Mr Dawes, however thanks for the stay with my tramp friend all those years ago.
By the way the bet on the Asp was for cups of tea, which you lost, we suckered you there, punters indeed!  Pah!  And i seem to recall i bought.   So in the logic of economics you owe, me 2 cups of tea and my brothers K & M, 2 cups each too.
Well done John.

Seem to recall Dawsey was struggling to put 2 moves together ... on THe Asp ... how times change ... he's turned into a real punter now ... E&7all ... there's some wizardry going on in those Welsh castles!
We'll have to pop over to Marlinspike and have a word with the Haddock.
What do you say TIntin?
Captain FIshcakes.
Barking.
SUssux.
The Snowdrop ... the trail thickens.
NOt to worry we'll track him down again ...
Mid August at my reckoning, set the sails Godwit.

I've followed up my indepth research on this matter and can report a high level of impressedness.
An amazing OS account ... in true pioneering spirit ... something Johnny's never lost (for long (possibly?)) in his multitude of characters.
Seems like he's never forgotten to ask 'Who am I?' at every turn.
Seems like he's well and truly unstuck himself.
Looking svelte and younger on the outside - must doing colonics or someting? - does anyone have a lead on this?
Plus he won a comp at the Castle ... must be something to do with Castle's.... quick Don QUixote back to Marlinspike ....

Looking forward to his book, no dooubt it'll be a proper one with artistic licence, not some plodding punt up Liquid Ambar - there was a whole lotta juice missing from He of white lycra .....!?!!!
Awesome well done mate.
