Hornblower at Birchens
April 03, 2011, 09:15:39 pm
Heyup,

Pottered over to Birchens on a sun kissed Saturday and failed on Hornblower. I used just the two cracks, with my friend stating that the larger one, to the left, was a no go.

However, in this 'ere video: the climber starts by using the big crack.

So, can anyone settle this quandary?! Is that left hand crack in or out?!

Ta!

had an afternoon over at birchens a couple of weeks ago, wondered the same thing but decided it was probably out as it is the crack used on 'oar 'ouse, this does not mean it's a rule though! nai did it this way and i imagine using the better crack out left would have made it easier. just do it both ways  :)
