Buy, or blow dust of one of these:

ditto for a few of these:

Dig out some of these:

and get involved. Pembroke has some of the best climbing I've done in the UK, its fan'f*cking'tastic!

Going bouldering would be like turning up at the Verdon and going DWS'ing from a peddalo!

I know it's each to thier own, but as Paul says - the words tadpoles in a salmon stream spring to mind.

I have occasionally had a few hours to spare after work when I was in the area and bouldered in a few of the places, and none are particularly inspiring.

Or get a surfboard.

If you get a nice day then Mynedd Dinas is a beautiful and magical place. Mentioned in the CC download (despite the review I thought plumstone and maiden castle were a dead loss). Wild moorland, easy approach, grandeur. Might want to bring a soft brush.

not much but a couple of problems here are worth it....

I've got a guide for a newgale south boulder as well but can't re-find it - can PM if you want

Mr Hair,

You may find these two links useful from the ramblings of the delightful, if slightly eccentric Skinny Dog archives...

I'm sure there's some decent bouldering around, but the trad climbing is some of the best single pitch stuff to be found anywhere (on planet earth).  It would be a crying shame to live there and not get stuck in

Sorry to jump on the band wagon BUT I gotta agree with that, it's like sport climbing on trad gear, if you're ever going to do any trad then it doesn't come much better than this. Solid clean rock, bomber gear and (usually) plenty of it....
