Just seen them in concert; highly recommended, good mix of new and old and I'd say most tracks were as good if not better than the studio versions played loud. GG is almost like an old style music hall compere with added swearing and love. He also gets mountaineeering karma points for walking out to see the people who were physically the furthest seats from the stage (high up on seats at the back) during the encore. Villagers, their support band, were much better than I expected. Just what I needed after a 4.30 am start that day, as Moff's abandoned me for the weekend to see big siss in Barca, then video conferencing with students in Malaysia, then helping people worried with more likely redundancies at work, then dealing with a class of Libyan MSc students who haven't slept properly for weeks.
