flattish boulder bag
February 20, 2011, 09:36:29 pm
im wanting a flat bag to fit my gear(few pairs of boots, chalk bucket, flask food, inside my saturn pad.as everyone seem to agree the saturn pad isnt the best for storing a bag inside although up untill now i have managed ok with my snap bag but as im buying a 3rd mat for my font trip im going to strap on mat to the back of my saturn pad (http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v335/beastofackworth/Picture002-3.jpg) and that will prove problematic so im in need of a flatter bopuldering bag.any ideas?

I think the Works sell Flashed bags which are bigger and cheaper than that

I've been using one of these for a while. Its quite flat and has so far seen no problems being stuffed inside my Mondo and Ocun pads. I like the full length zip so I can get at all my shit easily.

The small pointy Arcyeteriicxexcxs bags fit well in the top of pads being wedge shaped.  Expensive though

I got one of the metolius bags, but it was 25 quid delivered from shropshire climbing centre. Not the greatest of quality I have to admit, but it does it's job and fits in my saturn.

Just got the metolius bag. Seems a worthwhile purchase so far: works well for stashing inside of a hinged pad, also works well just to carry your shoes and water when you don't bring your pad.

the plan now is to carry my bag outside the mat, seems to work ok.realised strapping 3 mats together is heavy and off balancing
