Thinking of travelling up tomorrow for a few days sampling of Northumberland bouldering.

Recommendations of quality problems around 6b - 7b greatly appreciated.

Also good places to stay - bunkhouses etc?

Any suggested itineraries for a 2-day trip that will allow us to sample the finest the county has to offer...?

Bunkhouse recommendations here. I'd recommend The Bluebell Farm Bunkhouse

If you've never been before then kyloe and bowden are the places to go.

I'm thinking of heading up to the County for my first visit in April. Will mainly be bouldering but gonna take a rope as well.

So, what do people reckon are the top three classic routes that I should do while there in the E2 to E4 range?

Ta, Luke.

Ignore Jim, Kyloe in is fantastic just make sure your tips aren't sore before you go.

Bowden, Kyloe-in (although it can get a bit claggy if there's been any rain the day or so prior), Back Bowden (observe the parking restrictions) and Hepburn is worth a deviation solely to do Northern Sole.

There's also Queen's crag which has numerous high quality lines, Wordline being one of the best at the grade.

Most of the other problems will have been recomended before I'd think.

I'd second Hepburn, for A Northern Soul....

Best problem i've done in the County, best go after a few days dry weather though....
