I am finally at home in Italy. I can’t help but keep thinking about the two weeks I spent in UK, about the problems I climbed and most of all the people I met. While I can thank no one else for the climbing but me and my training, I want to thank all you guys for making this trip special.
I would like to thank you name by name, but I could forget someone and I don’t want. Thanks to those who took the time to pop up at the boulders and say hello, thanks to those who spotted me, or showed me a way to climb a problem, or drove me to new areas, or shook my hand, or took a sip from my flask in the cold. Thank to those who opened their houses and their fridges and paid me beers at the pub and taxi rides.
But most of all, thank you guys for making me part of something I’ve always loved, and for making me feel at home.
Lo.
