Thaurac/Hortus/Cantobre beta
February 11, 2011, 05:46:58 pm
So, follow on from my queries about Orgon, has anyone been to any of these ones?

Again, would be great to find out about quality, grade spread, mix of routes at different grades (i.e. lots of trekking about as a mixed group doing 5s to low 7s), good routes to do, general beta.........

All help much appreciated. I've found a topo of one wall (the wall?) at cantobre here http://chadurif.fr/topo/cantobre/Cantobre.pdf which looks pretty cool but pretty hard, and there's an article online *kirkleesclimbing I think) about Thaurac which makes it sound pretty good, which is a good start, but any personal recommendations would be good...

That sounds promising  :)

How much are you after for the guide? Also, more tricky, how good and recent is it, and does it cover anywhere beyond Thaurac?
