Just wondering if anyone has any idea what is going on with the weather in Font at the moment? I'm guessing it might be a little damp but you never know....!

Not damp at all, actually very very very dry as everything is frozen !

Aha! Thanks Stef, that is good to hear.
We are supposed to be heading down this weekend with a optimisic attitude as the forecast is not ideal.

I know this question gets asked all the time but....... do you know if there are any boulders which are less affected in bad coditions?

New fall of snow last night.
Best to keep to the more main roads today.

The sun has now come out so it's looking wonderful

One thing to note, we are expecting more snow on Saturday (but will have to see).

The weather forecast keeps changing, yesterday rain was forecasted for next week, now that has changed to a mixture of sun and snow. I think you'll have to wait til the last minute to see if it snow and how much. If it's anything like Paris conditions will be very good and very cold.

Looks like I've got a chance to chip off to Font next weekend.  Need to decide tomorrow really.

Current forecast has snow 'til wed, then sun/clouds and cold thurs, fri, saturday.

So question... is it worth a look?

Latest update, slush and rain/snow. Unfortunatly this has meant
That I wasn't snowed in so I have had to go to the office

So this week all depends on the temp, I think we are slightly colder over our side than font itself. Definitely been seeing rain in Melun, yet getting snow at home.

I know Mr bkb will be on the hunt for some rock to climb this week so he might have better info soon.

My earlier positive mood for next weekend has taken a turn for the worse. It could do with being a couple of degrees colder, the snow has turned to sleet and it's damp and miserable at the moment.

Hi, sat in nemour at the mo. 99% of the snow gas gone, raining currently. Don't think this will turn to snow as it is 2*c. We are hoping the the promised forecast materialises. Also there is a good wind.

Unfortunately we've had about 6 inches of snow this afternoon in the Paris area, I'd imagine it's much the same in Font.

Snow forecast tomorrow and Friday. After that very cold weekend, but might be sunny, hopefully staying cold enough so the snow doesn't melt!

Unfortunately, last weekend and this week have been fantastic but it will likely change on Sunday (rain until Tuesday ).
