As mentioned in the Peak Area Meet thread. The BMC is in the early stages of doing a peak limestone guide and could do with help from knowledgeable locals. Anyone think they can help, generally or with specific crags? Either post here or PM Offwidth.
Would be good to see the peak limestone get a guide of the same quality that the grit crags have had for years now.

Is this guide nothing to do with the Rockfax guide then coming out this summer? I don't see why they wanna make another guide when there's already one coming!?   

Still i would be keen to help out anyway, on any of the peak sport crags.

No, the Rockfax will be a selective guide, this is the next series of definitive guides. As the last one wasn't brilliant, this will be an opportunity to match the high standard of the latest BMC grit guides.

I'd be keen to help with this. I've done quite a bit at Cheedale but doubt whether I class as knowledgeable or not.

I had told Grimer a while ago that I was keen to help with this, but he's probably forgotten, so I'll say it again here.

I could do Blackwell Dale and most of the obscure bouldering areas, as well as contributing to the obvious venues like the Tor, Rubicon etc.

cheque's incapacitating illness set me wondering ... if anyone got so excited about working on the limestone guide they got a nosebleed and couldnt attend the meeeting this is a good alternative place to start (no virtual bleeds please).

Sorry a bit far away and don't have any specialist knowledge to offer. My experience of the standard classics has tended to agree with the grades and stars.

I'm happy to help out, unlike most of this lot, i'm happy to climbing the crappy routes on crags other than Rubicon and the Tor to check they still exist. I'll drop Offwidth a line too.

Glad this guide is moving again. Sorry but the Tor section is spoken for - I wrote it with Steve and Zippy about 3 years ago when Grimer first asked for volunteers. May need a bit if updating now though.

Can't help with physically checking things this year ahead, but stick me down for anything that can be done via email from abroad.  Cheedale and trad lime would be the main things I could contribute towards.
