Tree Surgeon
January 31, 2011, 09:03:33 am
I need to get some trees felled / crowned and was wandering if anybody knew of a good tree surgeon.

We've had the work approved by Sheffield City Council - so just need someone to do the job.

I used Hope Vallley Tree Care a few years ago but the chap who owns it doesn't return my calls.

MAny thanks.

You could try Andy from Roper Tree Care.

http://www.ropertreecare.com/

I've known him for years and he's always done a very professional job!

Or Big Marv http://www.arboristtreecare.co.uk/

Or John Bray http://www.morethantrees.co.uk/

Both of which also keep it in the family.

Big Marv did some work for me a couple of months ago - highly recommended. My two year old daughter was so impressed she has been nagging me to buy her a chainsaw ever since....

Percy hasn't revealed his plans yet for the design of the new comp wall but he has revealed how he is taking the old one down. And yes if involves a chain saw. And not very much else.  And he is going to say his daughter made him buy it.
