You don't - the loom will have the relevant connections to allow you to do it (they are almost certainly the ones you can see on the left hand side of that picture) just unplug them and wire up again the other way round.

Apparently in Peugeots, the red and yellow wires need to be switched as they are the other way around to normal. How do i fiddle with one of these to do that? I.e. How do I get the pin out?

Good job you're not colour blind...

No matter how hard I tug, I can't get the wire out of the loom! Am I doing it wrong?

The two bullet connectors will be tight but not so tight that a very occasional Font 6b climber like me can't get them disconnected. Come on lad man the fuck up...  ;)

Have I got the right beta, just pulling them out? Or do I need to unhook some hidden catch or something?

easiest to just cut the wires and put bullet connectors on them and switch them round that way

How do I get the old bullet connectors off though?

Try twisting one end of the bullet connector gently while pulling them can be useful. Using a pair of pliers to grip one end of the connector is also useful beta.

Ah, it appears you're talking about apples and I think you're on about pears. I've been trying to actually remove the pins! whoops.

these are bullet connectors

usefull and easy way to join wires together.
Don't pull the pins out, you'll break them or the plug, get some of these and cut the wires and swap them over or twist them together and bond with a drop of solder and then tape up (connectors are far easier and easily undoable as well)

Sorted. Wad points all round. Thankfully the connector already had bullet connectors in it (which I previously mistook for fuses.)

Not a problem - I did have images of you trying to pull the wires out of the back of the socket and dismissed it as being so outlandishly improbable (as well as bloody condescending) that I didn't mention it.
