I have just realised that music can also be played using es file explorer. You just long press the folder you want hit the more menu button and then click play. The advantage with doing it this way is the tracks can easily be reordered if they aren't in the correct order in the folder. You can then once the tracks have been reordered save as a playlist for future listening.

Both of these support folder playing...

GoneMadMediaPlayer the most customisable music player out there as you can tweak everything.   Long standing default preference of mine.

LongPlayer a new app that is still in Beta that I've been trying out, pretty functional though (you have to join the Google+ Group to access beta development versions of programs, no idea why).

Beastmaker Training App

Currently out by 1 second on timings as it doesn't include zero when counting down seconds.

Who needs training advice, climbing beta or crossing swords with internet warriors when you can learn the exchange rate of a fuckall - education fried, it's all about monetary education.

I seem to remember the original exchange rate mechanism being tied to Jim's internet bill.

Prepare for a Super deal! #OsmAndPlus at #GooglePlay for less than 1 dollar. tinyurl.com/d8s6l4u (May take a couple of hours).

OSMAnd+ for £0.10

You can use it to create POIs (I've imported all of the UKB POIs into mine and you can contribute to a more open and neutral community map (see this article as to why thats a good thing).

I bought it ages ago and its great, helped me get down the north ridge of Jebel Burrdah in Jordan after getting lost going up the East face and only getting onto the North ridge at 15:30....which was when we'd arranged to be picked up at the bottom (instead we went to the summit before trying to descend).  Foolishly left my headtorch in my trousers and only just managed to make out the rock bridge that was key to the descent before the sun set, then unsure which way to go as it was pretty much dark I figured I'd check the OSMAnd+ as I'd downloaded the Jordan map and lo and behold someone had logged a GPX trail up/down the North Ridge to the Bridge of Burrdah which we'd just crossed  ;D

The guide book was right though, the views from the summit were "unsurpassable" and well worth it...

Easy Flix - Make Netflix Easy which shows all the 'hidden' categories on NetFlix that aren't normally displayed (and are part of how they choose recommendations for you).

Does anyone use any open mapping apps (for Android)?

I'm using more and more Public Rights of Way (PRoW) and could do with something that allows me to see where I can and where I shouldn't be walking. Obviously I can buy a map (and the Lancs. council website has a good tool, but it isn't portable).
